Growing up in Boulder City in the Era of the American Dream when everything seemed possible and growth was everywhere.
I gained my geographical knowledge, curiosity about others and their world—a knowledge and interest that makes me qualified and establish new relationships as Lieutenant Governor for the State of Nevada.
I will increase the number of tourists arriving here at a rhythm comparable to that of the fifties—when my parents and their friends were declaring that there would be no way of selling all those houses being built in Francisco Park or Paradise Palms or fill all the rooms of the hotels sprouting up along the highway from Los Angeles, now called The Las Vegas "Strip"
I've had the privilege of witnessing Las Vegas grow from a village of just 8 thousand to a metropolis of 2 million people. Along with this growth has come infinite possibilities for the economic growth and continued development of the hospitality industry of our city.
